Think back to the good old days and it’d be easy for us to see that our ancient “cavemen” ancestors would never have any problem of “getting it up.” Heart disease was not even “invented” back then.

Their testosterone levels were always staying high due to their high-protein, low-carb diet. Protein is highly essential for the production of sex hormone many men and women are so much in lack of nowadays. To get the maximum amount of this good protein, focus on the diets that contain mainly meat, wild fish, eggs, dairy and nuts.

Red Meat: I believe beef and lamb are the best “real” nutritious foods. The protein composition in these foods is considered almost close to complete, which is also a good source of Creatine, which makes us stronger and energetic. Red meat also contains a great amount of the nutrient coQ10, which not only is vital for heart health, but also essential for sexual health because judging from the strong connection between erectile dysfunction and heart disease, it goes without saying that coQ10 will play important role in sexual health as well.

Wild Fish: Although fish is commonly believed to contain high level of mercury and other toxins, yet when we choose wild Alaskan Salmon, Mackerel, Trout, or Sardines, over farm-raised fish, we would be taking in a lot of good omega-3s to benefit our whole body with the need to worry too much about those environmental toxins. However, we’d be better off staying away from swordfish, shark, king mackerel, and tuna as the highest levels of mercury are mostly found in them. Choosing small over big fish is another good tactic as well.

Eggs: Eggs are the perfect food and should be eaten everyday. Yes, they do contain cholesterol alright. But this is the main source of nutrient that the growing embryo needs to use to produce sex hormones. And so do we. Just because eggs contain cholesterol doesn’t necessarily mean that our body’s cholesterol level will be raised by us eating them. Egg yolk contain all required fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K), iron and heart healthy omega-3 fats. Egg whites have all the water-soluble B vitamins and thus are the ultimate source of the highest quality protein in the least expensive form.

Dairy: Dairy can be best described as “liquid meat” because it contains much good protein. However, raw and organic milk is best when compared with other processed ones. Cheese and whole milk are wonderful sources of calcium and vitamin D. Male sexual stamina level can be greatly enhanced with good supply of these nutrients too.

Nuts: Rich in healthful monounsaturated fat, nuts are another good source of protein too. Almonds and walnuts are full of nutritious Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, fiber, potassium, plus many other minerals. Other good choices are pecans, macadamias, cashews, and brazil nuts. They are whole lot better choices than chips and crackers when it comes to snacks. Doing so will help to improve male sexual stamina level too.

Other factors like excessive drinking and smoking also bear much influences on both male sexual stamina and male sexual performance as well. A few too much drinks will make a man useless, and so does smoking too excessively. A solid erection requires flexible blood vessels that are easy to expand. Smoking will tighten up the blood vessels, making them to narrow to channel the right amount of blood needed for an erection to take place.
